Bus

ANM provides most of the urban transportation in Naples, with buses mainly leaving and terminating at Piazza Garibaldi. There are chief routes (R1, R2, R3 and R4) which connect to other less frequent routes.
A night bus (No. 401) operates from midnight-05:00h from Stazione Centrale (entral station) around city centre to Riviera de Chiaia and Pozzuoli, coming back to Stazione Centrale.

Trams (No. 1 and 1B) go from the east of Stazione Centrale to Riviera Chiaia. No. 2B goes from Piazza Garibaldi to the city centre.

Taxi

Taxis are recognized by their white colour and have a symbol of Naples on the front doors. They should be metered and it is easier to find one at a taxi rank than trying to wave one down on the street.

There are extra charges for bank holidays, night runs, radio taxi, runs to the airport and luggage, so they can turn out to be quite expensive.
